seraphine de la cour was born into wealth, the youngest daughter, there was many expectations put onto her since young. her childhood was somewhat joyful, given she had a sister and a brother to grow with, she learned many things and unlike other young girls she wasn't too concerned with her duties. she wanted to learn much more than what she was thought. living near the coast made the sea a constant in her life. her parents weren't awfully involved in her life, her sister being much more of a parental figure than her actual mother. there was a sort of jealously from her mother, seraphine had not only looks but a fiery spirit and brought many conflicts between her mother and her. her father was mostly absent and although some would argue that seraphine was the favorite, he wasn't around enough for it to mean anything. her family traveled for different business purposes and therefore seraphine was exposed not only to traveling but other languages and places. this settled a hunger to know the world that would never go away. as she grew she witness how her older sister was paraded around, how it was essential that she was married off and although her sister showed much excitement to the fact, seraphine did not understand or share the feelings. her sister leaving home with her new husband was the start of the end for seraphine.once she was of age, seraphine was expected to be wed off just like her sister had been, she had other ideas. finding men to court her wasn't difficult, what became a problem to her family was mainly the fact that seraphine had no regard for her reputation or her family's.she would break the rules, she would lure men and reap all the material rewards she could. and then find someway to break off the engagement. it had happened enough times that she got a reputation. her family was set with the task to find a suitor that would actually want to marry seraphine. and then they found one. with her back against the wall seraphine, she had no choice. and she was married off. taken away from her home and what she knew in a marriage she didn't want. she was miserable, it wasn't what she wanted out of her life. she belonged to someone. and it was enough to fester some thoughts. seraphine was smart, but she felt doubt and even fear. her husband wasn't terrible, he was boring and strict. which her family assumed was what she needed. she pretended to be loyal to him, but her patience was wearing thin.it was then when jack sparrow waltzed back into her life. so different from when they had first met, and serpahine never stopped behaving out of the norm and out of line. it was then that an affair began, and it was the first time seraphine confided in her feelings to someone else. it was jack's idea then that she could run away. and that was the plan, seraphine could finally be free. meet the ocean, it seemed meant to be. and then the relationship with her husband got tense. she felt even more constricted and suffocated. she could not meet expectations she could not keep going with the charade. she was constantly demeaned, and diminished. eventually she snapped. she killed her husband. it was a tragedy. but it felt like the air came back into her lungs. it was then that when the inheritance money came rolling in, she took her leave. became a pirate. setlling somewhere away, it was then that she started to gain traction as a dancer in a tavern. that being her homebase, she still takes any chance to explore the sea. steals riches. steals from men and brings them to her feet. it's how the world should have been working since day one. she has a reputation in a crowd where that can be a good thing. it was like it was meant to be. people know her as redd. she is a creator of bad luck. you know what they say, beware the redhead. fiery spirit and all.

ㅤMAIN :ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ DEFAULT ㅤ ——— ㅤ this verse follows seraphine three years into becoming a pirate full time, and is sorta my default to unless plotted otherwise. she is known as redd, it's the name she introduces herself in the tavern and during her adventures.ㅤHIGH SOCIETY :ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ YOUNGER YEARS & MARRIED LIFE ㅤ ——— ㅤ this verse follows seraphine during her younger years where she is constantly playing around with men engaged to her, always looking for an excuse to mess them up. she flirts with sailor boys near the port, is improper with other men of high status. this verse also includes the time she was a wife to her husband and her life with him.ㅤGENERAL MODERN :ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ HER STORY / IN THE MODERN TIMES. ㅤ ——— ㅤ sera is the daughter of a wealthy family, her father being a producer and most of her family away from the starlight. not sera, she has her debut in independent french films when young and makes it big. her family pressures her to get married and she marries a famous screenwriter, her husband sucks and is jealous of her fame. wants to control her, and suddenly dies under mysterious circumstances. during the investigation she is a suspect and the media has a field day with it. she is currently trying to fix her image and continue her career.ㅤWESTERN :ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ HER STORY / BUT WITH COWBOYS. ㅤ ——— ㅤ sera is the daughter of a ranch owner, known around towns and very sophisticated, she also kills her husband on this and goes on to become a wanted outlaw, running away from police and using her beauty and charm to find her way into many many riches.ㅤSTRANGER THINGS :ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ HER STORY / IN HAWKINS. ㅤ ——— ㅤ based greatly in her modern verse, but expanding upon it a little, her dad is still an important producer and her mom is from hawkins, however she did not want to move, so her dad is the one who travels around, her mother is a religious weirdo. sera lived in France with her dad's side of the family for the majority of her life since her mother cannot stand her. however she is a problematic child and gets kicked out of the private school she is attending and was sent back to hawkins at age 12 as punishment. and she has been in hawkins ever since.ㅤFANTASY / DND :ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ HER STORY / ONCE UPON A TIME. ㅤ ——— ㅤ seraphine was born from the union of the fae king and a human woman, making her fae royalty and half fae. she is her usual rebellious self, living in the feywild but once she makes her escape and enters the world beyond disguised as best she can she meets jack. it's then that she is bonded with him, offering him a place to be and sera's family allow jack to live with them in their world with a job and shelter in exchange for sera to be married off. this doesn't last, eventually the both of them make their escape. she lives a life of excitement and crime.ㅤVERSE :ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ STATUS. ㅤ ——— ㅤ info info info.
